The Unique Combovalve™ Remote Control Valve system

Simple, Reliable, Fool Proof

Your standard S Series™ Blast Machine is fitted with the unique ComboValve™ Remote Control System to control the blasting operation from your nozzle by a ‘deadmans’ or remote control handle. This ComboValve™ System controls the air inlet and exhaust functions in one valve, reacting to start or stop the blasting very rapidly. This unique valve is a normally closed, self sealing, fail-safe valve. The large internal air passageway eliminates pressure loss common to other remote control systems.

How it Works

When the Deadman control is activated, the ComboValve™ unitized piston assembly instantly shifts, opening the air inlet and pinching closed the blow down hose, starting the blasting operation.

The need for expensive plungers or diaphragms that can require frequent, unscheduled and costly downtime is eliminated. An inexpensive blow down hose can be replaced in just a few minutes, and any service or repair can be easily performed without removing the valve!

Combo Valve

p15_pic_5F Combovalve™ is fitted as standard equipment to all BMS 3.5 & BMS 6.5 TM Blast machines with MicroValve™ abrasive metering. The Twinline control hose carries the pneumatic signal from the deadman handle. p15_pic_6F For operations that require over 50 metres of Twinline control hose, we recommend fitting an electric remote control kit for fastest response time from your remote control handle.

Choose the ‘DeadmanHandle’ that you find comfortable

Blasting can be completely controlled by the operator at the nozzle by using a deadmans handle. Blastmaster® has a range of remote control handles to suit your individual requirements.
