PosiTector® 200

The PosiTector® 200 Advanced model will measure 3 individual thicknesses and features a graphic readout for a detailed analysis of each layer of the coating system. Measuring coating thickness on steel, concrete, wood, composites and other non-metal materials, the PosiTector® 200 is so versatile and unlike some other instruments, measures in a nondestructive manner. Measure thick protective coatings on concrete flooring, pipes, containment structures and more with the PosiTector® 200.

Steel Thickness Gauge – UTG

The most user-friendly ultrasonic thickness gauge around! Measures the wall thickness of steel, aluminium, plastic...and much more. Changing substrate material is easy with on-screen menu. Indicators show the probe is coupled to the surface correctly – no false readings! Memory stores up to 10,000 readings in 1,000 batches. Advanced model has ‘Thru-paint’ capability to measure the metal thickness without removing the coating.

PosiTector® DPM Dew Point Meter

The rugged DPM Dew Point Meter measures and records climatic parameters including Relative humidity, Air temperature, Surface temperature, Dew point temperature and Difference between surface and dew point temperature. An ideal instrument for painting contractors and inspectors and has a rugged design. Audio and Visual alarms indicate when climatic conditions are unsuitable for painting. The Flip Display feature enables right-side-up viewing in any position.

PosiTest® Pull-Off Adhesion Tester

The digital Pull-Off Adhesion Tester measures adhesion of coatings to metal, wood, concrete and other substrates – has revolutionary self-alignment feature and pull rate indicator. Measures the force required to pull a specified test diameter of coating away from its substrate using hydraulic pressure. The pressure is displayed in psi or MPa on a precision digital indicator.

The 266 DC Holiday Detector is safer, easier to use and more reliable.

Air bubbles, inclusions, thin spots, bridging, hairline cracks etc in coatings are defective weak spots with potential for propagation of coating breakdown and failure which will cause rust. It works by passing a high voltage through to the conductive substrate and activating an audible and visual alarm. With LEDs on the handle, as well as an audible alarm, it clearly indicates if a spark is detected. Inter-changeable Probe Handles allow different voltages to be used.
